My name is Bao; I'm the owner of this page. This page is about all the activities in my Digital Art II class. I don't quite speak English or understand much of it, so please forgive me if I have any error for my grammar or something like that! Thank you!
Critique
Here's my opinions about Yarnden's animation. All the colors are very appropriate, showed up the skin color of each character. The shapes she has made for each character create a lot more attractive to viewers. The audio is good, the conversation is short but it made people in class laughed. 3 of characters are in the center of the video clip, that didn't show who is talking to who. It's like they all are staring at you and talking to you, the audience. I think Yarnden did good in her animation, she has spent her painstaking time for her work. Good work Yarnden! :)
Shane! I like your turtle and his little mouth. Its shapes are more like cartoon than animation. Your work does not quite attract people's eyes. The colors on the turtle are most green so you should add more things into your video to have something that might express people. Good job Shane!
Self - Critique
I have improved my Photoshop skills, such how to use mask effectively and more benefits in Photoshop, how to change the voice using South Booth, create a video clip has texts and audio using Final cut. I have had a hard time when I tried to delete something in my pictures, now it's easier for me to use mask skill in Photoshop. I don't have many people to help me in a class's object, now I can use South Booth to help me change my voice. A video clip has more convenient opportunities when using Final Cut, I can add texts and add audio in a part of a video clip wherever I want. Also from all over the lessons Ms. Robinson has taught me, I learned how to make the picture more creative and organize all the materials to grab viewers' attention. From each work I earned more skills; I knew how to work on an object between Photoshop and Illustrator, between Flash and Final Cut. I think I've learn a lot more than I thought in this class. Our teacher Ms. Robinson is awesome, she spent more time in class to teach us understand the object we're gonna do and also she help each one of us to organize materials in our object,... She did a lot to help US! Thank you so much, Ms. Robinson, for teaching me this semester! ^^
